To switch rooms around... and it's work!
After some thinking we decided to have the girls share a room. It just makes sense. The girls play together pretty much 24/7 (unless Autumn is gone) and they only really sleep in their rooms... and even then soemtimes they wanna sleep in the same room. Soooo.. Alannah is moving in with Autumn! They are both excited about it.
Austin's room is a box.. so he will have a LOT more space now that he will be going into Alannah's old room. We plan to get him a bed and whatnot soon and I just could not imagine a twin bed, dresser, etc. in his box of a room... plus his little train track and all his other toys.
So, what will be done with Austin's room? Well, folks.. I am going to make it my sewing/craft room. I REALLY need my own space. Right now I am tucked away next to the kitchen in our breakfast nook. I think having my workspace in the kitchen is making me fatter.. LOL. I am really excited to get my own space. Plus I will have a door to close to keep kiddos out.. well, Austin. With my fabric being out where he can grab it once in awhile he starts pulling some off the shelves and makes me bonkers.
So yeah.. I have to pack up 4 rooms.. (Autumn and Alannah's room will be repainted so I need to pack up Autumn's as well) No fun. It will probably take me all of July to get done. I will post some pics once we're all setup over here!
Yay! Your own work space! I wish we had room for everything work related. If P could have it his way, we would live in a huge factory-like loft space.
It should be exciting to see how the girls like sharing a room when they're older. ;D Lucky Austin with his own!

Putting the two girls together sounds great their rooms are a good size. Austin will enjoy the additional room too. Wow, an actual work area you have to be totally excited. I know it will be a lot of work, but I know you'll make a good use of the space.

Sounds like lots of painting, packing, and planning. Unfortunate for you, fortunate for me..Why? Because I love to watch you decorate!
